What are you most waiting for when winter finally comes?

Every year, when winter comes, it feels like we are stepping into a whole new world. The smell of the pavement after the first rain, the look of the park when it's covered in snow, the warm beverages and the cozy clothes… We all become different people when the outside world changes so drastically, and each of us deals with that in different ways. However, by now, we all know that winter does not come in one day. In fact, we have a whole season dedicated to the slow transition between summer and winter, which is, of course, fall.

Fall has plenty of winter qualities mixed with the changes in weather that give the season a unique vibe. It also has plenty of holidays that we all love and appreciate. The fact that we get to enjoy some of the best parts of winter without having to suffer through the worst of them is what makes fall such a beloved season worldwide, and the existence of holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving is what makes people wait for this time of year for months. If you ask me, days like these are a furrtastic cause for celebration.

As a fan of fall myself, I love to make time during this season for my favorite activities, especially on a cozy weekend like this one. Whether the sun is shining or rain is falling from the sky, there are plenty of fun things to do to appreciate this time of year. Winter is coming, time to prepare. One of my favorite parts of fall is those first few days when rain is no longer a distant friend, but a regular occurrence. I love walking outside with my colorful umbrella and enjoying the view of a world covered in water, while it's still warm enough to enjoy a stroll.
My dog is also a big fan of these rainy events, simply because he loves to jump into puddles. Sure, he makes a huge mess and a lot of work for me when we get home, but there's nothing I can do against his awwdorable excited face and his happy little paws. If he wants to jump into a puddle while we walk in the fall rain, I am jumping in there with him.
There are still a few weeks left to fall, in which we get to enjoy the slow drop of degrees and the transformation the world takes on. Take this as an opportunity to enjoy your favorite activities you won't get to do again during winter, and make sure to stop and enjoy a delightful downpour before it gets too cold to step outside.
